GABE WAX

Songwriter, producer, mixer and tastemaker Gabe Wax has contributed to some of the most critically acclaimed albums of the past decade—from Beirut, Deerhunter and Fleet Foxes, to name a few.

One of his most notable collaborations is with Sophie Allison on her breakout project, Soccer Mommy. Wax produced all three of the Nashville indie rocker’s studio releases, including Clean, which earned a spot on Pitchfork’s “Best Albums of the 2010s” list.

Wax has worked on projects beloved by countless critics, including Helena Deland’s ‘Someone New’, Adrianne Lenker’s ‘abysskiss’, Crumb’s ‘Jinx’ and and ‘Angel’ by Standing On the Corner. In 2018, Wax received a Grammy award for his work on The War On Drugs' ‘A Deeper Understanding’. Wax has built a collection of work that continues to receive praise from respected names in music and media.

Additional credits include production on quinnie’s viral hit ‘Touch Tank’, tracks on Jeremy Zucker’s ‘Crusher’, Miya Folick’s stunning album ‘Roach’ and mix work on Jean Dawson’s knockout album ‘Pixel Bath’. Most recently, Wax was a primary producer and mixer on Zach Bryan-cosigned, country newcomer Levi Turner’s EP ‘Allergy Season’.

He is currently working on forthcoming projects with Zsela, Wild Rivers, Superfan and Levi Turner.

Wax works from his own studio in Los Angeles, California.
