David Tolomei got his start at the infamous Avatar studios before opening his own studio in the East Village in 2008 and entrenching himself in the New York underground scene.
He has since recorded some of the most exciting, celebrated albums in recent years, from Beach House to Future Islands, whilst also working with breakthrough artists such as Torres and PIXX.
He has recently mixed tracks for the legendary John Cale (Velvet Underground), recorded and mixed for Dirty Projectors, and lent his production chops to critically acclaimed albums by Half Waif and Girlpool.
He splits his time between New York and L.A.
